SIFAX Group has been honoured with the “CSR Impact & Excellence Award” by Media Consortium, for its exceptional contributions to community development through impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

At an award ceremony held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, the company received the accolade in recognition of its transformative projects and sustained commitment to improving lives across various communities in Nigeria. The award, presented under the theme “Outstanding CSR Initiative in Community Development,” celebrates organisations that demonstrate leadership in driving sustainable social change.

Speaking on the award, SIFAX Group’s Head of Corporate Communications, Olumuyiwa Akande, described the honour as a validation of the company’s values and its deliberate investment in people and communities. “At SIFAX, we believe business growth must go hand-in-hand with societal progress. This award strengthens our resolve to keep making meaningful contributions that empower and uplift,” he said.

Media Consortium, organisers of the award, commended the company’s proactive engagement and measurable impact, stating that “SIFAX Group stood out for its consistency, transparency, and the scale of its outreach programs.”

It is worthy to note that SIFAX Group has consistently demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility through impactful initiatives, including annual sponsorship of dental outreaches for Ibadan residents, the Taiwo Afolabi U-17 Cup that nurtures young football talents across South-West Nigeria, and the Taiwo Afolabi Annual Maritime Conference, which enlightens and empowers students on the vast opportunities within the maritime sector.
