According to Legit.ng, out of the 1,955,069 individuals who took the UTME this year, more than 1.5 million scored below 200. This revelation has raised alarms regarding the preparedness of students for such an important national exam.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) published a breakdown of the results on April 5, highlighting that only 420,415 candidates managed to score above 200. This leaves 75% of the examinees with scores under 200, and less than 1% achieving scores over 300.
