Nigerian rapper Lil Kesh opened up about his ongoing mental health struggles, sharing his battles with anxiety and undiagnosed ADHD.
Although he hasn’t been formally diagnosed, he mentioned, ‘I don’t like to identify as ADHD, but I have ADHD.”
He emphasized that while many people casually claim to have ADHD, his experience is more profound. “I diagnosed myself, but trust me, I know.”
“Everybody has a particular level of ADHD to them. But it’s bad when it is a disorder. I’ve had my fair share of that disorder right from when I was a kid.”
The anxiety, he said, was worsened by life in the limelight and other personal challenges. One of his biggest triggers? Uncertainty.
“I feel like not knowing, lack of clarity… that’s one thing that can give me anxiety,” he shared.
“Once I know what it is that I’m dealing with or what type of emotion I’m actually feeling or what my problem really is, that is half solved.” he added
