Popular Nigerian activist and social media influencer, Verydarkman, recently took to the internet to share a deeply personal and unexpected revelation—he just found out he is AS genotype, a discovery that has left him disappointed and heartbroken.
According to the outspoken personality, he had always believed he was AA. However, after taking a genotype test recently, the results showed otherwise. The news was particularly devastating for him, as it ruled out any possibility of marrying any of the three ladies he had feelings for—all of whom are also AS.
For many Nigerians, genotype compatibility is a serious consideration in relationships due to the risk of giving birth to children with sickle cell disorder. Verydarkman acknowledged this reality and admitted that the results ruined any hope he had of starting a future with any of his crushes.
In his usual candid style, he didn’t just share his story for sympathy. Instead, he used it as a wake-up call to his followers, urging everyone to check their genotype status early in life, especially before getting too deep into romantic relationships.
