Renowned Nigerian entrepreneur and popular hair vendor, Wanneka, has shared a terrifying experience after narrowly escaping a fire outbreak in her home with her husband and their infant.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, the mother of four revealed that the incident happened at exactly 2:18 a.m., with the fire starting dangerously close to where she, her husband, and their baby were sleeping.
“2.18am last night right behind our bed. With my husband and our infant. Once again God did this thing”, she wrote, expressing deep gratitude for their survival.
Wanneka explained that earlier that night, she had spent time watching a movie and playing with her husband before they eventually went to bed. While asleep, she was jolted awake by her husband’s urgent voice alerting her to the fire.
Still in shock, she managed to escape quickly, with her husband following close behind. He reportedly sustained injuries while carrying their son to safety.
“The fire started and ended here without getting on every thick curtains just next to the switch. What if hubby didn’t wake uo early?. What if we were all sleeping do deep?”, she reflected.
Though visibly shaken, Wanneka expressed immense gratitude to God, thankful that everyone made it out safely.
