Popular Yoruba actress Dayo Amusa was filled with happiness on Sunday, May 18, as she celebrated her baby boy reaching the six-month milestone. Earlier this year, she welcomed her first child, Oluwafire, into the world, a moment that sparked curiosity online with some people questioning the identity of the father.
In a heartfelt New Year message, Dayo revealed that she nearly lost her womb after being diagnosed with uterine myoma (a type of tumor) back in 2015. She also opened up about her emotional journey to becoming a mother, admitting to having moments of doubt and frustration that led her to express things to God she later regretted.
To mark her son’s half-year birthday, Dayo shared touching photos and expressed her joy at watching him grow and thrive.
“MY 6 MONTHS FIRE @babyolufire Half a year already, time is an absolute Thief but we’re so proud to be your parents, we can’t wait to watch you grow and see you on your next journey to eating all the snacks possible Mum and dad xx love you,” she wrote.
