Afrobeats star Davido recently welcomed veteran highlife musician Bright Chimezie to his residence in Lagos, just days after expressing gratitude for inspiring his song “With You.”
Davido had previously shared that Bright Chimezie’s classic track “Because of English” served as the creative spark behind his latest release.
Keeping to his promise, Davido invited the legendary singer to Lagos and personally hosted him at his home.
A video shared online captured the moment Bright Chimezie arrived in one of Davido’s luxury cars, with Davido warmly receiving him and making him feel right at home.
