The Nigerian artist, whose real name is Ebunoluwa Damini Ogulu, dropped the track recently, but Regha was quick to voice his dissatisfaction. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he described the song as underwhelming and lacking impact.
Regha, who emphasizes he is not a troll, went further to say that Burna Boy’s recent musical output feels more like “child’s play” than serious artistry. He expressed regret, pointing out that the “Last Last” singer was once celebrated for his impressive talent.
According to Regha, Burna Boy’s continued prominence seems to rely heavily on his brand image and collaborations with big-name artists, though these efforts don’t leave a lasting impression.
This isn’t the first time Daniel Regha has been critical of musicians. In the past, he openly criticized Davido’s album cover for “Timeless,” suggesting it carried negative vibes and urging more care in future visual designs.
