Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has responded fiercely to a social media troll who criticized her and others for publicly highlighting the struggles of veteran actress Jumoke George.
In a recent interview with Biola Bayo, Jumoke George opened up about her difficult circumstances, revealing that she has been homeless for 5 to 6 years and has been living in a church. She also spoke about her deteriorating health, explaining that she has been in and out of the hospital since January 2nd and is now in debt. To make matters worse, she needs a brain and heart test, which she cannot afford.
Biodun shared the emotional video of Jumoke’s heartbreaking revelation on social media, hoping to draw attention to her situation and perhaps raise funds for her. However, one critic lashed out at the actress, questioning why the matter had to be made public. The critic also noted that since Biodun is in the U.S. with a wealthy husband, she should be able to handle the situation privately, instead of asking the public for help.
