Renowned fashion designer Toyin Lawani has publicly criticized aesthetic specialist Dr. Bea after the latter took a jab at actress Angela Okorie over her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure.
Earlier, Dr. Bea had mocked Angela Okorie, sharing a video of the Nollywood star on a movie set while using her as an example to warn against excessive cosmetic surgery. The doctor urged actresses to focus on refining their acting abilities rather than relying on physical enhancements to boost their sex appeal.
Lawani, however, didn’t take the comment lightly. In a fiery response, she pointed out the irony of Dr. Bea criticizing someone else’s cosmetic choices while allegedly having undergone multiple facial procedures herself. She slammed the aesthetic doctor for being judgmental and emphasized the importance of letting individuals make choices that bring them happiness.
According to Lawani, people should prioritize minding their own business rather than policing others’ bodies or appearance.
She wrote in a lengthy post;
