Taking to Instagram, Toyin shared a striking photo of herself recreating one of her mother’s iconic looks. She expressed deep gratitude for the profound impact her mother had on her life, crediting her for instilling values such as hard work, dedication, kindness, and compassion.
Despite their royal background, Toyin recalled how her mother ensured they remained disciplined and hardworking. Now a mother of three herself, she expressed sadness that Atinuke Babalola is no longer here to witness her achievements, see the woman she has become, or watch her raise her children with the same principles her mother taught her.
Her tribute serves as a touching reminder of the lasting influence of a mother’s love and guidance.
