  • Nigerian Reggae Icon Buchi Atuonwu has disclosed his reasons for leaving his cult group for the first time.
  • Buchi, in an interview on Black Flame, revealed that he left a cult after finding Jesus and being saved, stating that Jesus revealed the true meaning of the cult.

Renowned Nigerian reggae artist, Buchi Atuonwu, has revealed the powerful reason behind his decision to walk away from his former cult group.

Speaking during an interview on Black Flame, Buchi shared that his transformation began when he gave his life to Christ. According to him, accepting Jesus gave him a deeper revelation of what the cult truly represented.

“Jesus! I had a deeper understanding. Jesus showed me the meaning of the cult. He showed me it was not a physical association. You can’t bring a knife to a gun war. It was spiritual. “

The gospel singer also recounted a chilling experience that marked the beginning of his exit. While performing around 2 a.m. for a group of people—some of whom were carrying coffins and red lamps—he heard a mysterious voice.

“We were singing and walking when someone spoke into my ears; you don’t belong here. I ignored the voice but I heard it for the second time. That was when my problems started—running from other cults, from the police, etc.

In other news, Controversial Nigerian artist Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, has declined a boxing match challenge from Speed Darlington, deeming him an unworthy opponent.

In a recent video, Portable stated that he is not interested in the fight, suggesting that Darlington is simply trying to promote his upcoming show in April.

Instead, Portable has set his sights on a more significant challenge, calling out British-Nigerian boxing champion Anthony Joshua and demanding N100 million for the match.

He also boasted about his status in the music industry, claiming to be a much bigger star than Darlington.

The drama unfolded after Speed Darlington publicly challenged Portable, but the latter dismissed it, creating more buzz among fans.]
