Controversial street-hop artist Portable has publicly called out Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy, expressing frustration over being ignored after receiving a generous cash gift from him.
It was previously reported that Burna Boy gifted Portable a whopping ₦20 million after he emerged victorious in his boxing match against fellow artist, Speed Darlington.
In a recent video making rounds online, Portable expressed both gratitude and disappointment. While he appreciated Burna Boy’s generosity, he lamented that the Afrobeats star has never responded to any of his messages or calls.
According to Portable, despite never having had a personal conversation with Burna Boy, he still received the massive cash gift. However, what he desires most now is a music collaboration, which he believes would be more valuable than money.
“Person wey give me 20 million never reply me for Instagram before, I Dey call am, he no pick, e no follow me, I no get him number and yet he gave me money. Why he dey stingy with his replies?”
The singer’s statement has sparked reactions online, with fans divided over whether Burna Boy owes Portable any further engagement beyond the financial gesture.
