In an Instagram update, she reflected on the struggles she faced, but noted that her boys make it all worthwhile.
Adesua affirmed that despite the pain and difficulties, she would gladly endure it all again for her sons and would do anything for them.
“Today, I’m taking the time to think about my journey to motherhood. It wasn’t a straight road, but when I look at my boys, it is well worth it. The tough pregnancy journey, to the complications, to the injections, to the emergency c-section, to the sleepless nights, to the tough healing process, to the post-birth constipation, to the expressing endlessly, to bleeding and cracked nipples, to showing up and being present even when ill, to round-the-clock shifts, to the joy, to the indescribable love, to the triumph, to the laughter, to the beautiful moments. I’ll do it all again for these boys. I will literally do anything for them.
To all the mothers who are mothering, we are the closest thing to magic.
