The event, themed Back to Base, welcomed a host of notable celebrities, including Davido, Annie Macauley, and Regina Daniels. Amid the buzz, content creator Almera Danjuma attempted to interview VeryDarkMan during his red carpet appearance.
A viral video captured Danjuma’s efforts to engage the controversial figure, who initially ignored her, despite her visibly standing in front of him. After some time, he briefly responded, explaining that he generally avoids answering questions during public events.

Check the body language, VDM stood in the place to be interviewed, gave her partial audience but unfortunately her energy came across too shallow for him to connect with. You’ve got to know when to match energy as a reporter, think quick and be witty. Love what she does oh, there’s always room for improvement.”
