Social media users have reacted to a story shared by veteran Nigerian actor, Chiwetalu Agu, about his encounter with a lady who had previously asked for financial assistance.
In a viral video, Agu recounted how the woman contacted him through his Instagram DMs seeking help. Despite not being in the best financial position, Agu reached out to his son for support. Though his son was also struggling financially, he still managed to send half of the amount the lady had asked for.
Agu proceeded to send the woman the receipt for the transfer, but after that, he heard nothing further from her. A few days later, he reached out to confirm if she had received the funds, to which she simply responded with “seen.”
Weeks later, the same lady returned, once again requesting financial aid. However, this time, Agu decided not to help her again.
