Success, the wife of Prophet Umueke Miracle, the head of Dynamic Flame of Fire and Miracle Ministries in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has accused her husband of bigamy, infidelity, and domestic abuse.

She alleges that despite their legal marriage, Prophet Umueke Miracle has married another woman and paid her bride price, while also having a third woman living with him.

In a recording obtained by SaharaReporters, Mrs. Miracle said, “He married me legally and then married another woman and also brought another girl. He can sleep with anything in a skirt.”

Mrs. Miracle also accused Prophet Miracle of using the police to intimidate her and restrict her freedom.

Earlier reports indicated that Umueke Miracle had been arrested for allegedly detaining his wife, Success, for five days at a residence in the GRA area of Port Harcourt. Success was later freed by the police, and Prophet Miracle was invited to the station for questioning regarding the illegal confinement.

It was learnt that after Prophet Miracle responded to a police invitation, he was taken into custody. According to Rivers State Police Commissioner CP Olugbenga Adepoju, the case was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation.

Speaking to the newspaper, Success shared her frustration, stating, “My brother reported the matter at Umuokoro Police Station, but my husband went to the State CID to file a complaint against me. He knows I’m aware of all his secrets. I want to free people’s souls from his cage.”

She described Prophet Miracle as a “fake pastor” and alleged that he planned to evict her from their home, stating, “He called the police and told them that on Monday, he would use them to move my things out of the house. He plans to lock everyone else out and keep me confined.”

Mrs. Miracle went on to reveal that her husband began an affair with a woman named Suzanna, who was previously married to a man named Ibrahim. She claims Prophet Miracle took Suzanna away from her husband and eventually paid her bride price.

“My husband married me legally on December 28, 2017. By the end of 2019, Suzanna, who was married to Ibrahim, started attending our church. Rumors began circulating that he was dating her. He first brought her to our house, claiming her husband was suspicious of her and that she wanted to join us in fasting and prayers. I reluctantly agreed. Later, I found out he had already paid Suzanna’s bride price and moved her into a house in GRA,” Mrs. Miracle explained.

She continued, claiming that Prophet Miracle had become more distant, visiting their home only on Sundays and Tuesdays after church services to count offerings. “One Sunday, he left me at home and drove off to see Suzanna. He later told me he would find another place for me to live because people were gossiping about him not staying at home anymore.”

Mrs. Miracle alleged that Prophet Miracle now lives with a third woman while continuing to neglect her. “My soul and spirit have been tormented. I don’t know why I stayed in this marriage for so long. He has a third woman now. The second wife lives in a two-bedroom flat downstairs, while the third woman stays with him. I have never benefited from this man,” she said.

Accusing her husband of domestic violence, Mrs. Miracle claimed that Prophet Miracle physically abused her and restricted her communication by taking away her phones. “He beats me and no longer comes close to me. I have endured enough,” she said.

At the time of reporting, Prophet Miracle remained at the CID, where Success confirmed that her husband had severely limited her contact with her family and confiscated her phones.

Success previously explained that this situation was part of a longstanding pattern of control and financial abuse in their marriage, which began in 2017. She revealed that her husband forbade her from having a bank account or independent financial resources, despite not providing for her personal expenses.

“We’ve been married since 2017. He made it clear I should not have my own money or even open a bank account. But he wasn’t giving me money either,” she said.

Frustrated with her financial dependence, Success secretly opened a bank account with Access Bank and started a small business selling water and other supplies. She said some ministry staff helped with sales and depositing proceeds into her account. However, Prophet Miracle eventually discovered her secret account, accusing her of stealing his money and running an unauthorized business.

“He lied to the bank staff, saying he wanted to deposit ₦500 million into the account. This is how he found out about my balance,” Success explained.

On Tuesday night, Prophet Umueke Miracle reportedly forced his wife into his car and took her to a house in GRA, where he allegedly confiscated all her phones to prevent her from contacting anyone.

“He told me he was going to sue me and has kept me here since Tuesday night. It’s not a prison, but it feels like a normal house that I think he rented,” Success said.
