Afrobeats sensation Davido has shown his support for his close friend and popular socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chiefpriest, as he prepares to launch his music career.
Chiefpriest recently announced his plans to join the growing list of Nigerian entertainment figures delving into music, revealing that his debut track, “More Money,” will be part of his upcoming album, CP No Small.
To build anticipation, Chiefpriest shared a behind-the-scenes video featuring renowned cinematographer Director Pink. He disclosed that the song, set to drop in April on his birthday, would be accompanied by an official music video.
In a clip posted on Chiefpriest’s page, Davido expressed his excitement and pride in his friend’s new venture, revealing that he played a major role in the project.
“I executively produced CP’s new song,” Davido said in the video.
He also mentioned that he helped direct the video, while Chiefpriest was seen grinning throughout the shoot. Another scene captured the nightlife king performing his track, as Davido and an enthusiastic crowd cheered him on.
Towards the end of the video, the duo sparked curiosity with a distinctive handshake, hinting at something special surrounding the song.
