Israel Olabunkun Olawale, also known as Bims, a promising figure in the music industry, has opened up about the hurdles young stars face and how he plans to overcome them as he envisions a brighter future.
“Music is challenging because we are still trying to break out, and there are a lot of people that are there already who can’t do what you do,” Bims explained.
He continued, acknowledging the difficulties he faces: “There are setbacks, and there are people buying their way into the fame space in the music industry, there are people that wants to see you fall at all cost cooking up stories against you.”
Despite these challenges, Bims remains determined and focused on his goals. He plans to continue releasing music and collaborating with other artists who share a progressive and creative mindset.
“We have a lot of plans to drop more music this year, with God on our side and consistency we would surely get there,” Bims expressed confidently.
In addition to his music career, Bims is also considering a future in fashion modeling.
“Apart from music production and songs writing, I think I can do fashion modeling because I have this model body kind of physique, and I think that I can also relate to music, I just want to be versatile with music and be at the top,” he said.
Bims’ long-term dream is to make a significant mark on the global music stage.
“I see myself performing on big stages across the globe showing the beauty of African music and receiving international awards and honors,” he said.
