Actress Rita Dominic’s husband surprises her with a Range Rover for Valentine

  • Orezi, a Nigerian singer, admitted to having spent the night with a woman in Abuja who gave him N30 million
  • In a recent chat with Echo Room, the Ogede hitmaker explained that he wasn’t dating her; they just had a brief fling.
  • He added that many of his fellow artists enjoy similar perks.

Nigerian musician Orezi disclosed that he once had a sexual encounter with a woman in Abuja who presented him with N30 million.

He recounted meeting her at a club in the area. In a recent interview with Echo Room, the Ogede singer emphasized that he was not in a relationship with her, just a casual hookup.

He mentioned that many of his colleagues also benefit from such experiences.

He said, “I wouldn’t say she paid me for s3x. She only appreciated me for satisfying her. The highest amount I have received from a woman is N30 million. It was 2016 in Abuja.

“She gave me the money because she liked me. If you like a lady, won’t you spend on her? We weren’t dating, but we had something going on. I didn’t ask her for the money. She gave it to me willingly as a fine boy. We clubbed together, had fun, and went home together. It was one nice aboki [Hausa] woman. I was in Abuja, and my return flight to Lagos was the next day.

“I was shocked. I wasn’t expecting it. When I got to Lagos, she sent a message to check up on me and requested my account details. I sent her my account details, and she sent me N30 million. When I showed my friends the alert, they were shocked that a woman could gift a man such an amount.

“A lot of male celebrities enjoy the same privilege. I feel like it’s a normal thing. I know a couple of artists who do. I’m sure they enjoy the same privilege. The same way there’s ‘fine girl privilege,’ there’s also the privilege of being a celebrity.”

“I think it was 2016 in Abuja… 30 million Naira…”

In other news…. A Nigerian woman who secured a fully funded scholarship to attend a prestigious tech event in London has been denied a visa by the embassy. Officials claimed she might not return to Nigeria after the event.

Sharing her experience on X (formerly Twitter), she revealed her disappointment, stating that despite receiving full sponsorship, her visa application was rejected.

To back her claims, she posted images of her scholarship award. Many users sympathized with her, criticizing the challenges Africans face in obtaining visas, even for legitimate opportunities.

In a recent update, she expressed her frustration, emphasizing how such rejections limit career growth and global exposure for talented individuals. Her story has sparked discussions on visa restrictions and their impact on professional development.

“I got a fully funded scholarship to attend a tech event in London, but my visa was denied. 🥲 One of the reasons given for the rejection was that I wouldn’t return to my country after the event.”

With only a week and a half remaining until the event and the usual visa processing taking 15 days, she requested an appeal, hoping for a second chance.

“Please consider me. This is more than just an event for me; it’s the biggest cloud-native conference in Europe. All I ask for is a chance to prove that I will return to Nigeria after the conference.”

As her story spread across the internet, numerous worried people filled the comment section with their opinions and words of encouragement.

See some reactions below:

@Factfinder004: “How will they conclude that you’re not coming back, ehen?? So sorry about this o.”

@prospa_ap: “why would they just conclude that you wouldnt return to your country. Thats really an unfair judgement.”

@lwandlendebele: “Oh no sis . I really hope it works out. God Yahweh Jehovah will make a way that I know and declare in Yashua Emmanuel Jesus Christ’s name. AMEN.”

@morelifecomm: “Fuck them! I hate to see things like this. London 1 Nigeria 0, this loss is on Nigeria.”
