The Central, South, and Northern senatorial districts’ council areas’ results revealed that Aiyedatiwa had defeated the other candidates.
In the 18 council areas of Ondo State, governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa seems to be leading early in the governorship primary poll.
On the other hand, calls for the exercise to be canceled and acts of protest and violence marred the election.
Olugbenga Edema, Prof. Dayo Faduyile, Wale Akinterinwa, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, and Olugbenga Edema have all objected to the way the exercise is being run.
They claimed that many of the 203 wards in the state did not get electoral materials.
Reports from all throughout Ondo, meantime, showed that Governor Aiyedatiwa was comfortably ahead of the other fifteen contestants.
