NEW ORLEANS, March 16, 2023–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Humana Healthy Horizons, the Medicaid business of leading health and wellness company Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), today announced that it has donated more than $1 million to nonprofit organizations across the state has donated from Louisiana in the past year.
The organizations, all of which share Humana’s mission to improve the health and well-being of the communities they serve, help parents, families and individuals in need, including new mothers and children, by helping with home safety, health and wellness, Education, human resource development, food security and more.

Humana Healthy Horizons, selected by the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) to provide health coverage to Medicaid beneficiaries across Louisiana beginning in 2023, serves adults and children with the goal of helping them manage their health and well-being through a whole person to improve, values-based approach that goes beyond traditional clinical care.
