There is new leadership in Philadelphia after Rashaad Penny signed a one-year deal to join the NFL’s top-rushing offense.
The dodgy and physical running back had a strong start to 2022 but suffered a fractured fibula in Week 5 during Seattle’s 39-32 loss to New Orleans and underwent surgery at the end of the season.
Now with the NFC Champion Eagles, Penny will look to prove he can be elite while sharing the backfield with Kenneth Gainwell, Boston Scott and Trey Sermon.
Now that Penny is signed, here are six takeaways from his introductory press conference.
