Ports on these models include HDMI, an SD card slot, a headphone jack, three Thunderbolt 4, and MagSafe 3 for charging. What many users don’t know is that the MagSafe 3 port isn’t the only way to charge these MacBook Pro models. In fact, you can use any of the three Thunderbolt 4 ports to charge this powerhouse, too. Depending on which MacBook Pro (2023) variant you choose, the box can include a 67W or 96W brick. Here are some alternatives that work with any of the USB-C cable options we mentioned above.

Although third-party MagSafe 3 chargers are limited and difficult to come by, it’s fortunate that users are at least relying on third-party solutions with the MacBook Pro (2023)’s USB-C ports. Personally, I rely on the MagSafe 3 charger because it’s more convenient to use and doesn’t require much effort to connect and disconnect.
