In addition to the single story mode, you can take on friends in local or online multiplayer encounters. Up to four players can play in one of the most anticipated N64 titles to be re-released to modern consoles to date. Xbox version updates will include alternate control options, unlockable achievements, and native 16:9 resolution up to 4K Ultra HD (when supported). There’s been no word yet on whether there will be any Nintendo rewards for playing.
The game is an adaptation of the 1995 James Bond movie, a blockbuster movie that sends an MI6 spy to Russia to prevent the use of a satellite weapon. Actor Pierce Brosnan would reprise the role in the films Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, and Die Another Day, before Daniel Craig took over with Casino Royale in 2006. While several sequels and related video games were released on the two Half a decade after GoldenEye 007, none of the games have held up to the original’s popularity by comparison.
