The activity was first noticed by Daily Dot journalists Mikael Thalen and David Covucci and was published in an exclusive article titled “U.S. airline accidentally exposes ‘No Fly List’ on an unsecured server.” They stated Maia Arson Crimew’s name for uncovering the data.

The leaked list involves identity information and key data including 1.5 million names and aliases of people who are barred from air travel due to having suspected or known ties to terrorist organizations.
