HBO’s ‘The Industry’ renewed for a third season

“The Industry” has been renewed for a third season on HBO.

The British series, a co-production with the BBC, concluded its second season on September 19. The cast of the series include: Mihala Herold, Marisa Abella, Harry Lottie, David Johnson, Ken Leung, Conor McNeill, Alex Alomar Akpobome, Indy Lewis, Katrine de Candole, Jay Duplass, Sonny Poon Tip, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Nicholas Bishop, Sagar Radia, Mark Dexter, and Caoilfhionn Dunne.

The show focuses on the London office of the fictional World Bank Pierpoint & Co. It follows a group of recent graduates and now young bankers as they try to stay afloat in the highly competitive world of high finance.

“‘The Industry’ has reached new heights in season two, cementing its status as a rocking success with addictive storytelling, multi-layered characters, fast paced, and intense observations of contemporary workplace dynamics,” said Kathleen McCaffrey, HBO’s senior vice president of programming. “We are incredibly proud of what Mickey, Conrad, Jamie O’Brien, Gene Tranter and the team at Bad Wolf have accomplished, along with our entire cast and crew. We couldn’t be more excited to continue our journey with them in Season Three.”

Football Highlights

“The Industry” was created by Mickey Dawn and Konrad Kay. Both serve as writers and executive producers on the show with Jamie O’Brien. Jane Tranter, David B. Davis and Ryan Rasmussen are also executive producers alongside Ben Irving for the BBC.

The show is produced by Bad Wolf Productions for HBO and BBC. Edo Ferretti works as a producer. Matthew Barry, Zara Mirza, Joseph Charlton, and Charlie Yvonne Simpson are also “Industry” writers with directors Birgit Stermos, Isabella Eklough, and Caleb Femi.
